***Before applying to this host, make sure your profile page is completely filled and updated. Tell more about yourself and how you can contribute in your application note***

We live in a small village and we have six rooms to rent to our guests. Our place is 700 meters above sea level and 20 km away from Fethiye. Our place lies in a cool valley under the ancient Lycian site -Cadianda- and is surrounded by thick pine forests fed by mountain streams tumbling down the rugged hillsides. Our place is almost 5km away from the village.

We are protecting our land as a forest to deal with wild mushrooms and wild orchids. We have also a small farm where we produce for ourselves and for our visitors who stay in our guesthouse. We produce vegetables and have many trees like walnut, olives, peach, apple, apricot, almond, cherry, grapes, we collect wild herbs and wild mushrooms. We preserve all to be used for the whole year; dry, can, make jams, syrups, etc. We are feeding chickens for meat and eggs.

The work all throughout the year we need are: gardening and farming/organic (incl. weeding), harvesting, building and maintenance, help in the house (washing and cleaning), animal care (dogs, cats and chickens), pool cleaning, etc. In the summer time watering becomes more important. If you can be able to take responsibilities you are welcome. Please be advised that we are very sensitive on hygiene. In the household we share the work - that means everybody has to help. We offer food and accommodation in exchange of 5 hrs of daily work, 6 days a week. We are flexible for the work hours depending on both sides programme. We are looking forward for volunteers for long staying. If its a short visit sorry we can not accept; it should be min 3 weeks.

VISITING AS GUEST: Contact the host to learn about the contribution fee for food and accommodation.
