Itaatli Farm

The farm is one of the largest in the Çıralı community to convert to organic farming in 1998. Despite their initial lack of expertise and continuing difficulties in selling their crop, they are a family which does not give up on organic production methods. They produce and market orange, lemon, mandarin, avocado and varios vegetables such as squash, pepper, and tomatoes. Hidayet and Ulku Itaatli and their daughter Melike often have family guests in their home during the summer. For TaTuTa volunteers and guests they have a bungalow with toilet and shower, between avocado trees across from their own house. Volunteers and guests eat meals together with the Itaatli family or may prepare their own meals with organic food supplies provided by the family. The host cannot accept volunteers with kids, if you want to visit with your kids please apply as a guest.
